Introduction of Catfish ponds and tanks to diversify income streams, reduce risk, and cater to a broader market segment that prefers larger, firmer-fleshed fish.
2. Polyculture and Prawn Farming
Integration of Catfish and freshwater prawns to optimize resource use and increase per-square-meter productivity.
3. Aquaponics and Vegetable Production
Integration of vegetable farming into the RAS nutrient cycle. Wastewater from the fish tanks will nourish plants, creating an eco-friendly closed-loop system that yields both fish and organic vegetables.
